Decided to make it as an android app instead for shiggles. Got the majority of it done up in class today. I think I'll put the first real working version in the market for free. Then make a 25 cents or so version that I'll constantly update with the ability to have multiple life rulesets, barcode scanner for rulesets, optimization, and any other fun things I can think of.

Made a basic version just to help me plan it out using mit's version of app inventor. Now I'm about to use the Android SDK through eclipse to make a final version because making a 3d array, and then searching that array in app inventor is slow as all hell. Takes like 20 seconds to update a 20x20 grid to the next state.
