AP Yi isn't the greatest champion ever?
Honestly, if you lane mid against anyone who doesn't have hard CC (stuns or silences or anything that can interrupt a channel), you honestly can't lose your lane, and then you rape face in team fights if you know how to play him right.
People get mad at me when I say I pick him as mid. Why isn't he accepted as a viable champion? _________________

every ap yi i've seen has done this
>gone solo lane (usually top)
>rapes early game
>goes like 8/0
>does nothing after 20 min

I mean even in that case, he was a great use because he won his lane hard and kept his laning opponent out of farm and therefore made them useless in team fights. However, it's not hard to still be useful. I usually play him mid against someone who doesn't have any or at least very little / hard to land CC (cassiopeia, gragas, orianna, viktor (lol), ziggs, karthus, heimer, and even xerath, annie, kennen, etc.). Only mids who can interrupt or silence easily can really counter AP yi.
Honestly, all you have to do is q everything. If you want to harass, just q right when the wave appears if the enemy champ is near, or q when there are only 3 or less minions left in the wave. Alpha strike has a 1.0 ap scaling, and meditate has a 4.0, lasts 5 seconds and gives 300 armor and MR at rank 5. Also, when his ultimate is on, kills refresh all cooldowns, meaning alpha strike spam exactly like this:

This is LoL.
DotA was just a custom map on Warcraft 3, and was thus very limited in comparison to its standalone competitiors LoL and HoN. It also came way before it. HoN is extremely like DotA, has a lot of skill involved and is, in my opinion, hard as fuck to see anything. Like literally everything is a shade of brown, and the minimap consists of like four dark ass contrasting colors, which you would think would be helpful but it's really not. LoL is simpler than DotA and HoN, and in my opinion is the best. It's hard to compare to DotA, but where HoN has like a thousand different things that can factor into a team fight to the point where it's literally not even possible for any human brain, no matter how seasoned, to keep up with everything that happens in a team fight because there literally are too many things going on, LoL is much more about quality of skilled play, rather than quantity of tiny advantages you bring into the fight.
In other words, you can actually follow a LoL team fight and good players can actually strategically do the right thing in the right situation to give them an advantage. My experience with HoN is everybody pushing every button they have that does something and some lucky winner ends up on top. _________________

I don't see why you couldn't say the exact same thing for any champion.
Sure, Brand can be good for the first 10-20 minutes, but later on when everyone buys MR you are complete shit.
