|
|
| So I wanted to try out W8 only to find out I can't play my favorite games on it. I formatted back to W7 and now I can't inject .dll's. First I thought it was only from the code of my personal injector but then I tried with CE and it says injection fails. I have installed VC++ Express 2010 so I don't think I'm missing any libs.

| What are you trying to inject? Some .dlls require .NET Framework(3.5/4.0)

| I installed VC++ 2010 which comes with these frameworks. I also tried to inject some freepascal .dll's I made a while back and none work while on my brothers laptop I can inject them perfectly fine.

Disable UAC
Also, check that your anti virus (if you have one) doesn't block it

Failed to injecting the .dll on CE. On the injector I'm using it errors @
threadHndIntPtr = WINAPI.CreateRemoteThread(hwndIntPtr, Nothing, 0, functAddressIntPtr, functParamIntPtr, 0, 0);
Get last error catches error 5:
errorString = errorString & "Error code: " & Marshal.GetLastWin32Error()
and hmm this is wierd. The error I am getting is only on calc.exe and notepad.exe. Not a huge deal but does anyone know why?

64-bit or 32-bit windows ?
If 64-bit, then calc and notepad are 64-bit processes and 32-bit injection codes don't work on that
ce 6.1 should do dll injection on those fine though
And again: Firewall and/or anti virus can block createRemoteThread on system processes

ah yes, obviously, the injected dll should be 64-bit as well. (speedhack should work as it's a 64-bit dll)
