Cheat Engine

been comming here 4 awhile always tried figuring things out on my own , cant seam to find the answer for this 1

i scan for a number find it change it in CE it changes for just a sec in the game then goes back to number it was before

if i find it change it then check box to freeze it it STILL goes back

have this prob with a few games

any help would be great

If it's online: That's normal

If it's single player: Perhaps you only found the temporary display value, perhaps it's actually stored as a float, or double, or using a 'special' type (like the money fp type which is a decimal multiplied by 100, or an xor key)

wow ok didnt know about all them i did find it as a double but say i change it from 100 to 500 it says i have 500 but i goto store to buy something for 200 says i dont have enought to buy it .... is there some where i can read up on the others???
and yes it is online and yes single player
