Cheat Engine

I am using Cheatengine 6.1, and when trying to use it on Dragonfable, Or ANY other game I've tried using it on, the first scan will work, but the second scan comes back with 0 values for every game I've tried anything on.

If a list of exact steps would help, I have one right here.

1. Open up DF in Google Chrome
2. Open CE 6.1 (64-bit)
3. Select the process form the Windows list
4. Equip a weapon in DF
5. Multiply the minimum damage number by 8
6. Scan the number
7. Equip a different weapon in DF
8. Repeat step 4
9. Scan the number
10. Get 0 values

I don't know what going on, but I've tried looking over everything and through everything and have come up with nothing on how to fix my particular situation. Can someone PLEASE help me?

it's most likely a flash game if it runs on a web browser:

instead of opening chrome.exe ... open flash_plugin.exe or something like that ... flash... then will work ... also try using scan type : 1 byte ... flash games usually don't store huge values

[EDIT] : by the way ... your game dragonfable it's an online game; that means that your health value isn't stored on your pc but it's stored on their servers ... therefore, even if you manage find any value that value would be just the number that you see on the screen not the actual value of your health.
so then you'll see 100% but you'll still be able to die.

Not to be rude, but with your explanation of what to do, some things don't make sense.

1. I'm not opening a Chrome.exe, I'm using the windows list, which I stated.
2. I DID however look for a "flash_plugin.exe", there wasn't one.
3. With Scan Type, you don't select how bytes to scan, pardon me if I phrased that wrong, you can select Exact Value, Bigger Than..., Smaller Than..., Value Between..., and Unknown Initial Value. You must be thinking of VALUE type.
4. Using 1 Byte allowed values to be found on the second scan, but more then 1 and none on the third scan, proving to be useless.
5. And again, I'll repeat again and again if must be, the problem affects EVERY game I try ANYTHING on. NOT JUST Dragonfable.
6. I never once mentioned Health, only Damage.
7. Now please explain what an "Online Game" is. As MULTIPLE people are able to use CE on Dragonfable. I'll have you know, that Dragonfable is a Single Player RPG. So tell me, how can others do what I can't with the same EVERYTHING?
