4chan is going through the 5 stages of grief
Denial - 2006/7 , place starts turning to shit, they think they'll come out of it
Anger - 2008/9 , all dat protestin scientology started, wanting to attack someone
Bargaining - Early 2010, wanting to stay alive, even if it turns to shit,
Depression - late 2010/11/12 so far, that feel, etc, shows itself.
Acceptance - TBA
