Just made a new account, 1 handed Sword (right) & Restoration (left).

Should I go illusion or alteration on my left?

I always go for ranged weapons whenever possible in any game
takes most skill and gives most gratification

not in skyrim.
in skyrim if you are ranged then you just stay in the shadow and shoot without being noticed. AI is pretty dumb
