In SlickEdit right bracket are automatically inserted when you insert left bracket. And your cursor is in between the two brackets.
When you have finished typing press Enter and you are out of the right bracket automatically.

1) Does any free text-editor have autoclose feature like SlickEdit?

2)Is it possible to do the same in Visual assist?

Visual Assist has the feature to do it. I don't recall what menu its in but I do know it has it from when I used it before.

Notepad++ has a plugin to do this as well, TextFX:

Both Visual assist and notepad++ have autoclose feature. But I have to use arrow keys to make myself out of the brackets.

And in SlickEdit the same operation can be done with the "Enter key".
