hey i was wondering whether or not this would be a good gaming laptop (like the witcher 2: assassins of the kings).

NVIDIA® GeForce™ GT 540M GPU

Intel® Core™ i7-2630QM

1 TB hdd

8 GB of ram

I say yes , but that card will probably get very hot. It's ddr3 dx11 with I'm assuming 900mb but it's fillrate and core count isn't too great.

ok thanks just out of curiosity would it also be able to run the elder scrolls?
such as skyrim, oblivion and morrowwind
also any suggestions on good laptop coolers?

I was super bent on getting a gaming laptop, then I actually thought about it.
Are you going to be doing some decent looking gaming while going anywhere? If no, then why get a gaming laptop?
