How do I cheat?

When I try to get extra cash in a game I do what I was taught to do:
I search for the value of the cash. and then I spend a little and look through those values and find the 1 with the new value, but I can't seem to find it.
I've tried a couple things I saw a tutorial where it says to multiply the value by 8, but I can't find what I'm supposed to change...Please help
