I'm not sure where to put this but, I need help on rooting an Android HTC Sense. (Android ver. 2.3.3, HTC Sense ver. 2.1) (T-mobile)
I've found MULTIPLE threads about the HTC Desire and etc. but not the Sense.. I've rooted my fathers phone before, so I'm pretty sure I know what to do but, I don't know to use a different program or not.
Anyone mind lending out a hand on what to do?

I looked at my phone's "Model number" and it says, "HTC Wildfire S"
on the back of my phone it shows at the bottom in small metallic letters. "WITH HTC SENSE"

HTC Sense is HTC's UI, not the phone.
I'm sorry but if you don't know what phone you have, you probably shouldn't be rooting.

Googled 'htc wildfire s root' without the quotes and a ton of sites came up with how to root it. You sure you looked? Seems to be pretty public with how to root it.

I had the Wildfire (the model before) and it was easily rooted but couldn't do much with the system files due to HTC phones having a nand lock on them (known as on xda forums S-OFF/S-ON).
Anyways here's a link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1195275
From what I could see you need S-OFF
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1038
Here's the specific wildfire S topics.
Have a browse and see what you can find.
I've used these forums for years and have had help rooting all android phones I've owned.

You need S-OFF for rooting just about any phone I believe. Very few if any don't require it.
