Hi I'm trying to decrypt a package of a program and not know where to start. Anyone have any starting point for me to start?

do a hook at the send function, and then trace back where the buffer is set. Then trace back some more till you find where the buffer in in unencrypted state and do a code injection there and modify the buffer

How would I do this hook? Its all that I find the Cheat engine? If so, how I would do. You would use for the breakpoint when it is generated the packet to be sent?
