I see everyone complaining about facebook changing their layout... but in reality, your asses complained about the last change too, and the one before that. You may dislike this current change, but I'm sure thousands of people like it, and thousands more dislike it.
Facebook simply needs to let us organize our own profiles, use our own HTML, etc.

I hate nearly all modern social networking sites. I like facebook back when you still had to authenticate school.

Agreed.
I like the updates; I think they're unique and well thought-out, and from a developers standpoint, impressive. Then again, I'm not a professional developer of any sort so they may not be. However, with change comes progress!
As for Google+, I like FB's layout better, although I do like the circles that Google+ has.

I actually liked Myspace. Then it got cluttered and annoying. And got shit on by Fox.

@Up2Admin: As for their updates, I don't think you nor I could judge them on a programming standpoint since neither of us are professional developers. Yes we might program in our spare time, but not nearly on the level of the developers. To each his own, though.
