shame,that server side disagree with you...there is only "official" version of server,and this mean its clean...NO MODS,for REAL POWER OF MC ull have to wait for bukkit

What are you going on about?

Bukkit is the server for MC,and have BIGGEST MC Server community,more than 1K Mods for server,and server CONTROL what going on IN CLIENT when they are playing...
example:
single play/Vanilla Server have only 1 back pack with few slots
Bukkit can have 999 back packs with 999 slots
it could be 9 backpacks or 11 with 22 slots.its all depends on plugins and configuration.
it's really hard to explain,but gap between vanilla server and bukkit...is like betwen planet and atom in capabilities.
and bukkit is not yet ready for 1.8

All you had to say was that Bukkit wasn't ready for the new update. I know what it is.
But it's hardly that big of a deal. I can enjoy Minecraft with other people either way.

Exactly. Atoms are capable of creating and destroying. A planet is capable of existing, but not without an atomic makeup.
