Also Halo is amazing...
So is Gears of War 3.

Yea, died not too long ago. The games WERE amazing, but now they're just milking it. I'm sure the gameplay will be exactly the same with one or two new combat gimmicks.

But that's just my opinion on them.

Slightly related, anyone here play "Inside a Star Filled Sky"?

Very fun and unique game. Wouldn't buy it from steam though, rather through the creator's site. The game is only 1.2ish megabytes though because everything is done via procedural generation.
