Start with the original (DoW) if you want, though the actual DoW2 series is pretty much standalone (DoW series was RTS, while DoW2 is more RPG). I have DoW2 on my account, but not the expansions, if you want to use it (Cryoma gave you a better offer though).

DoW2 wasn't really my thing, it more so pissed me off being suppressed by everything. I think I might try DoW1; is it more like a traditional RTS?
