I was going to make a partition from a 200GB partition already made, so I split 100 gb and now I have 100 gb unallocated space, how can I make that space a partition?

You will be able too, just be very careful when dual booting.
I tried to install Windows 7 and Ubuntu on my laptop, corrupted my MBR, which in turn (somehow) messed up the entire computer and I had serious performance issues.
But on my Tower I have in spain, I dual booted XP and Ubuntu no problem as I was careful.
Just follow a guide, and DONT stray off course.
