| I have trying to find a value with a decimal (I guess double or float) in a process. I am sure there is such a number because it appears on the application screen. I edited Cheat Engine writable, executable and copyonwrite all to don't care and I also enable all scan memory region types. But I just cannot find the value. Any reason why I cannot find it? I even scanned in text type It cannot find a thing.... It is a FPS counter in build in the game btw....

that is because the value is calculated , converted to a string, rendered to the screen, and then overwritten with other temporary values
Find out how the value is calculated and change one of those variables.
E.g the time passed since last frame render

I will try this on my games and see if anything comes up. Will report if anything shows.

Cannot be done without a guide of some sort. I have tried searching for the time between variable change and found a global variable, but that variable alone is nothing; tracing the discreet variable makes the process even more complicated.
If you would, Dark Byte, please share a guide on searching for advanced addresses like this. Thanks.
