Cheat Engine

Hi,
A link to the game is bellow.
You play as a pilot and collect baloons, as more baloons you get the faster you will complete the flight.
The thing im trying to do is like that - after you start taking few baloons, the bar in the buttom middle of the screen starts to fill up slowly, and when using cheat engine you can actually find its values, they are actually percentage which their values are regular numbers from 1 to 100 (no need to multiple by 8 ) (you can find it by using an unkown value smaller than 100 and then increased value, few times).

my purpose is to make this value jump to 99 when i want it to.
I tried to use code injection but it didnt work well, I also tried to find the pointers but it was way too complicated.

First, I would like to know if they function on a controlled set of values or do they work with randomly added integers to the score varialble? It would be easier to track if they are controlled (probably per color, or per balloon size). But you can still do it with randomized values but then again, you have to track data harder than you would on a controlled.
