Hey
I have the standard offline rpg inventory grid like this:

If I have multiples of a certain item (like hp pots) I can look em up and give me more. However after some fiddling around I came to the conclusion the game is not really saving info on every single item ingame (as in how many a player has) and only "remembers" how much of your "current" items you have in possession.
This makes it a tad hard to cheat my items whithout consistently having to look up values .... Sooo I figured out, the game might not keep track of every item ingame, it does keep track of how much you have in a current slot (items can stack in the same slot, a number then appear on the slot with your amount)...
That means it *should?* be possible to adjust for every "slot" the amount you have for that slot ?
If so how would I search Slot 1 , Slot 2, etc ? Im presuming if I know how to find slot 1 amount, I can find them all

not really clear on the question.
Usually games store inventory as "Inventory Type, count, Inventory type, count, etc..."
Once you have found the count of an inventory you can change the type, and also easily find the count of other items
Of course, this all depends on how the game is written. Might be that the game you play it's a different way
