|
|
I'm attempting to hack a game called Minecraft, created by Notch.
To freeze my hp at full value (20), I use auto-assembler.
| Code: | [ENABLE]
alloc(newmem,2048)
label(returnhere)
label(exit)
label(originalcode)
label(mchplab)
registersymbol(mchplab)
aobscan(mchpaob,89 04 19 e9 cd 00 00)
mchpaob:
mchplab:
call newmem
nop
returnhere:
newmem:
mov [ecx+ebx],14 //sets health to 20
jmp 00A1FD7A
originalcode:
mov [ecx+ebx],eax
jmp 00A1FD7A
exit:
jmp returnhere
[DISABLE]
dealloc(newmem)
mchplab:
mov [ecx+ebx],eax
jmp 00A1FD7A
unregistersymbol(mchplab) |
Every time I enable it, minecraft crashes. Is there an error in my code?

first call newmem, try changing call by a jmp newmem ( jmp = 5 bytes ), call can cause problems.
wrong opcode, the real health obcode is mov edi,[esi+00000180] ( in 1.4 version ), 1.7 no idea.
mov [esi+00000180],(int)20//full health
mov [ecx+ebx],eax this is a possible memory stack
sorry me bad english.
regards

Okay nevermind, I found the problem. I'm supposed to use, "What accesses this address" to find the opcode instead of "What writes this address."
Now I have another problem. With my new code...
| Code: | [ENABLE]
//code from here to '[DISABLE]' will be used to enable the cheat
alloc(newmem,2048) //2kb should be enough
label(returnhere)
label(exit)
label(originalcode)
label(mchplab)
registersymbol(mchplab)
aobscan(mchpaob,8b be 84 01 00 00 83 ff 00)
mchpaob:
mchplab:
jmp newmem
nop
returnhere:
newmem: //this is allocated memory, you have read, write, execute access
mov [esi+00000184],(int)20
originalcode:
mov edi,[esi+00000184]
exit:
jmp returnhere
[DISABLE]
//code from here till the end of the code will be used to disable the cheat
dealloc(newmem)
mchplab:
mov edi,[esi+00000184]
unregistersymbol(mchplab) |
... it doesn't work when I enable it for the first time. I think it's the AOB scanner. Because when I enable it, cheat engine just freezes for a few seconds and nothing happens. But, when I go to scan for array of byte...
| Code: | | 8b be 84 01 00 00 83 ff 00 |
... manually in the memory view/disassembler, it works after I enable it again. What's happening?

Try this maybe?

I haven't ever used the aobscan feature before though, so you might have something wrong with that...
Also, why did you put my screenname in the thread title?

Wait, what is the difference between yours and my original script? And if you wan't someone's attention, use the BBcode:
"readername" and replace the quotes with brackets [ ]
Sup Hitler!

I made it not run the original code immediately after your new code ran. For some reason I've noticed that the script runs the originalcode stuff if you don't comment it out.
