OH GOD THIS THING IS AMAZING!
It came with Mafia II and Just Cause 2, but I don't really care about those. Anyways, I tested it with The Witcher 2 on maxed settings, and it ran perfectly, no FPS drop at all. Currently downloading Metro 2033 to test.
And the speakers on this thing are amazing too!

>just cause 2
fuck you I love that game but I'm a poor bitch.
Well I mean I've been working but I need money for a decent desktop build and then a wacom tablet. :\

edit: You bought alice on steam right?
Any way we could share steam accounts? I'm sure I have some games that you don't.

I'm actually installing Just Cause 2. It's a good time-waster, so many lulz.
That makes 72 games in my Steam library.

I feel like I can play anything... what should I play?

You should read my above post and then proceed to play resident evil 5 on ultra settings, it's absolutely orgasmic.

I bought Alice at on disk, but I can see if the activation code works with Steam.
And I had that game on 360, played through. It would be sorta boring to play through it again.
EDIT: Nope, didn't work.

Aw yeah I played the shit out of it on 360 but when I saw the pc graphics I came buckets.
Anyhoo, Hydrophobia was rated most visually pleasing game to date by game informer, so I guess start with that as a benchjoe.
It's supposed to have the most realistic water/fire ever.
Dunno what the fuck the story or gameplay behind it is though.
Trackmania united looks pretty badass on ultra, I can't run it though even with an i7 and dedicated radeon, I have to tone down the shaders and AA to get the fps to 60.
Hrm...
Cinematic Mod for hl2? Makes the game look modern like cod4.

Then you use it for regular laptop stuff and suddenly it's top of the line again.

This is actually kind of what console kiddies convince themselves. Outdated, perhaps. Ever time something better comes out it's outdated. However, this applies to anything, not just computers. I would definitely disagree about "not being able to play shit," however. The progress of games in terms of graphics and hardware requirements isn't rising anywhere near as steeply as it was in 2005-2006. If anything, computer games are becoming more capable of having better graphics and outputting better FPS at the same time, because games are actually being made to run more efficiently on computers. So no, in a year, it's likely that Up2's computer will be nearly as legitimate as it is now.

Also new games will have low settings modes so that most people can play them without being millionaires.

And those "low" settings will be equivalent in quality to today's high or medium settings, allowing a pleasing graphical experience either way.

I think it should be good for at least another 2 years. Then, I'm willing to upgrade as anything possible.
