I have completed CE tutorials (I stopped at 7, it seems to be bugged). I need to know how I can find offsets in a game such as Battlefield 2142 or similar. For example, finding the offset for no sky, grass, etc. How do I get those offsets? I know they are online, but I need to know how to get them for myself.

If you think the tutorial is bugged, you almost certainly did something wrong.

That really didn't answer my question. Up until that point, the tutorial had assumed I knew how to get offsets anyway.

Offsets (multilevel pointers) are step 8, which you've never seen.

Honestly, if you're unwilling to even complete the tutorial then it is extremely unlikely that you will be successful in any kind of large-scale modern game. I'm not trying to flame you, but your responses basically suggest that you are refusing to learn about things and you just want the information spoon-fed to you. You attempt to deflect the fact that you haven't done your part because I didn't provide you with a "how to hack bf2142 or similar for dummies" tutorial.

Providing the steps for doing that based upon your question would essentially either be a rerun of the CE Tutorial (including step #8), or one of the numerous videos already available. You could look at the videos, but since you don't understand what is going on, they'll be useless to you.

Finish the tutorial and start out with simpler games (perhaps minesweeper?) before you move on to substantially more complicated applications like BF2142.
