|
I'm currently using a Bose 2 speaker home theater sound system, so my speakers go into the subwoofer which connects a volume pod with a headphone jack, which goes to my PC through a USB.
So basically headphones 3.5mm jack into -> volume control usb into -> subwoofer usb into -> PC
Before All i had to do was plug in my headphones into the volume knob and everything would work, now however, when I plug it in all the way I only hear in my right ear, when I plug it in halfway only in the left, and when its BARELY plugged in to the point where it's about to fall out, I hear in both ears but at a much lower volume..
What could cause this and how do I fix it? thanks!

The both ears-low vlolume thing might be caused from splitting in half, so they both can hear, but resulting in lower volumes.
This definitly sounds like a typical headphone connection issue.
