Okay, so this is quite frustrating to figure out. Have been spending at least 15 hours trying to figure it out. I've been able to locate any other byte I wanted to with enough testing but there is something that is boggling the hell out of me and if I can find a value for this generator and what the value has to be to achieve the objective in game, I'll be very happy.

Basically it goes like this. There are 480 squares on a screen that you can dig from. Every time you dig in a square there is a completely randomly generated chance that you will uncover a one-time only unique item. After thousands of tests, I realize it is completely random, no other bytes affect the chance or outcome of this happening whatsoever.

Sometimes I get it within 20 digs, sometimes within 50 digs, and one time it actually took me over 5,000 digs! As you can see, I want to eliminate this chance system for cheaters and make it show up on the first strike every time.

I know the byte that changes when you obtain the unique item (there is no item slot for it, you can only find ten of these items in the game and they are all one-time only in different locations). I've tried "see what accesses" and "see what writes to" for that byte, but the information that comes up is like another language to me that I just don't understand.

Here is the information. Could anyone please help me find an understanding for this?

I can't post URLs yet, and I apologize to the admins and moderators here, but I promise it is not spam.

There's not enough information to even guess what's it doing, but:
the right image (the one you used accesses) checks if the value is even or not

Is there anything I can do to retrieve more information?

The same power nut byte is affected when you try fishing in a spot that has the exact same system to randomly generate whether you catch the power berry instead of a fish. move, edi 01 was for the farm and would raise the byte +1 if you found the berry, and the fishing one says mov, edi 04, where it would increase 04 to the same byte IF you caught the berry, but something must be being checked in order for it to decline receiving the power berry.

Do you have any suggestions, sir?
