About pointerscanning. Is it possible to make cheat engine scan for an address and provide a base address for it to scan with?
Eg. Scan address 01234567
I don't know what the offsets are or how many of them they have, but I know the base address of the pointer will always be gameexample.dll+12345.
While scanning I always get alot of junk pointers that I know won't be right just by looking at the base address. Is there a way to filter them out?

As far as i know, no.
If i got this right, CheatEngine scans backwards, that won't speed up anything, but a filter would be nice.
Other suggestions to improve the pointer scanner:
1. Make the columns sortable (ascending/descending offset 3, for example)
2. Allow us to manually remove one or multiple adresses with [Del]

next version you can do such a filter using the rescan option
sortable: Take the time it does to do a rescan and multiply that by the total amount of entries in the list and you'll have the time it takes to do a sort (in short, not worth it)
As for removing specific ones, just use the rescan for that. Most of the time the list is so huge it's really not worth the time of a human to manually remove 0.00000000000000000000000000000000001% of the addresses the pointerscanner found. If the list is really small then you might as well just add them all to the cheat table and delete them there
