The ONLY prominent viruses out there (and I'm talking about the ones my friends/family are calling me/asking me what to do about) are scareware (fake antivirus programs) and and malware (particularly viruses like intervalhehehe! that just sit there making annoying messages pop up). I'm getting motherfucking sick of fake antivirus programs. This is some god damn bullshit, and you know it, virus makers!

I actually had to fix 2 teachers' computers today, and I have to agree. It's all scareware...I remember when I used to have to go through the registry to fix shit, it was almost like a game. Now it's just: load malwarebytes...scan...computer fix'd

These fake antiviruses are the only things your "Average computer user" can be tricked by. If we educated these mother fuckers, those fake antiviruses would be out of "business."
