I like Dubstep and Death Metal. Lost my taste for alt. rock about 5 years ago.

copeland and mae are also good rock bands. post rock bands like god is an astronaut, mogwai, and explosions in the sky. progressive rock from the 60s and 70s like camel and king crimson.
