Hey guys,
I'm attempting to take the SAT again in June. I took it for my first time in January and I got a 1500 flat. This is a very poor score in today's day and age. I'm not a stupid person, I do decent in school, 3.8 GPA, and I'm a junior. I'm trying to get a 1700+ next time when I take it in June. Anybody have any tips that you can give me? Like books that might help me? (besides the collegeboard SAT book). And I'm not trying to spend money going to Kaplan or expensive tutoring sessions. So yeah, please let me know some good strategies on taking it.
My scores were:
Math- 580
Writing- 470 (Essay -
Reading- 450

Didn't have writing during my time with the SATs, they taught us if don't know the answer leave it blank as it will not deduct points, but if you got it wrong then they will. Writing your name adds points to the overall score.
I think the max you would like to take is 2 times as what they do is grab the highest scores from both of your test. If you do take a third time, they'll average the score out.
Only thing you can do is study. _________________
