Is there any way so that my windows 7 consume less RAM without hampering game quality?
25% of my RAM is consumed alone by Windows 7.
I have 4 gb of RAM installed.. but because my OS is 32 bit.. it shows only 3.5 gb of available ram..
My config :
CPU : i7 960
Mboard: X58
GPU: 460 gt nvidia
Can i install windows xp in it.. ?
The vendor says.. you cannot install Windows xp.

when your game needs ram, windows 7 will give it. 4gb ram is enough to play any game on w7.

You could try disabling any unwanted/useless services, but it won't make a huge difference ...

Yes, Windows 7 uses all of that ram for everyone, and no, the fact that it does doesn't hurt game performance.

If you're so worried, just make 2/3 disk partitions. One partition for W7 32-bit, one for 64bit, maybe one for storage.

The problem is still not going to solve..
as the main concern .. is to use game with cheat engine.. and at that time.. i will suffer RAM problems.
