Tell them guitar is something that doesn't interest you and they are wasting their money forcing you to take lessons for something you don't enjoy. If they are reasonable people they should understand.

I enjoy guitar and have been playing since I was 13.

Took band, was forced to try clarinet, day after I demanded I switch to anything else, got a trumbone and then I enjoyed grade 9 band class, also my cheeks went super puffy, fun year.
