Piracy is awful, you should purchase everything that you want. Stealing is wrong, copy something, and that's money that the developers could have had. Without the money that you stole from them, they will no longer be able to produce content. It's also illegal, and it's wrong to break the law. Breaking the law hurts the world, and it's people.

Do the right thing, stay in school, and don't copy that floppy.

would you rather games be played by only people with money or games played by everyone thus spreading more info about games to people who will buy them

piracy helps the industry a lot.

technically it's not stealing.
let's say someone bought it and released the cd/dvd in a certain format to be shared on the internet without a cost. if the community likes it, he/she will buy it in near future.

for instance, i pirated recettear. loved it. capitalism ho!
then when it went on sale, i bought it without buyer's remorse.
same goes for amnesia.
it's like a try before you buy without the short ass trial/demo.
