I just installed ubuntu as my second OS. I would like to fix this but how?
You can you see the WALLPAPER. T_T

I am assuming you are running xserver with default gdm running. Try running those commands using sudo. Meaning before the command sudo.(command)

Please post versions of xserver and gem and gnome

Xserver -version
