mov dword ptr [var],edi


what is the problem in this code... edi and [var] when seen in trace windows shows same result.. but var in entry table shows incorrect result?

try giving it as address [var] (it will automatically change it to the pointer type with address var and offset 0)

it is a shared code so no wonder that [var] is changing all the time.
