What I was doing:
I was attempting to hack "http : / / apps . facebook . com / desktopdefender" and when I did my first scan, I scanned in plugins container for 0. Then when the value changed to 15 I scanned for 15 and it took longer then usual so I kept talking on MSN waiting. I checked back after a bit and everything started to freeze with the cheat engine window on top. Nothing else was lagging. Then randomly all of a suddon my PC blue screened, and for some unusual reason every single blue screen ever results in no bootable device error once but anyway.

0x10000008E is KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M
So something in the driver raised the exception and it wasn't caught. Given that BCP1 is C00000005 I'd assume it was an access violation. _________________

unless you had the options for kernelmode read/write access and query memory regions enabled this is most likely a device driver or windows itself being annoying (usermode apps should not be able to cause a bsod) _________________

This is a dell, it would be no surprise if it was a device malfunction. Any easy way of testing for that? I don't want to lose all the data on my hard drive a second time in 2 months. Bad enough my last hard drive was completely erased by broken sectors 1 month after the warranty.
