I downloaded a huge audio track, which is around 4 hours long, it's like 100 songs pasted right behind each other. I'm looking for a good program which allows me to cut the file into smaller parts, which i can save as mp3 files. It would be absolutely great if i could just enter the time when it has to cut the file. For example 4 minutes and 32 seconds.
Will allow you to break it down. The caveat is that it will not auto detect pauses between songs, but you can specify length. As in where to start and end.
I used it to take movie audio clips and make gestures with it in Second Life.
Wait a bit, when I get home in like 15 mins I'll double check and make sure that is the one I use. Audacity may do it as well. _________________

Thanks i will look into that program later when im on my pc again. As for audicity, i tried but it took me 15 minutes each part so it would take me a complete day to cut the parts.
edit: took a rough look at that site, but which program should i use for audio? i just see audio converters but i dont see audio 'splitters'.
