How do I cheat?

Whenever I find the right address, rick click on it and click: "Find out what accesses this address" the addresses in the window that pops up are always the same and have the same op instruction every time i restart the game, so this confirms the game is NOT using code shifting (according to my knowledge). And then when i open one of these instructions with memory view the same addresses also have the same op codes every single time to upon game restart.

But when i right click on the memory address in memory view and click: "Find out what addresses this instruction accesses" the addresses that come up in the next window called: "Changed Addresses" are different every single time upon game restart. Sometimes when there was tons of changed addresses during one time the game was running the next time i run the game there can even be no changed addresses at all, its completely random.

Can someone explain what is going on? Is this supposed to happen? And if so how do i pointer scan? Because this is preventing me from pointer scanning so i can continue on with what I am trying to do, its really annoying. Also just to inform readers I am not that experienced with cheat engine and am trying to improve.

This is supposed to happen yes.

If you want to find the address you need you must either do a code injection at the code you found, or do a pointerscan.

with "doing a pointerscan" I of course mean rightclick the address you've just found , rightclick it and choose the pointerscan option
