So I was walking home dancing to my dubstep sipping my coffee, and there's this long path of ice on the sidewalk and this lady was dragging this cart of groceries(not a grocery cart but like, a laundry cart, the square carts with 2 wheels and the handle you drag them. Anyways, I see her struggling to pull this across the ice with out falling, so I offer her help, I picked it up and carried it through the ice path and then waited at the end until she caught up, then I said have a nice day and continued walking.
HOLY FUCK THE FEELING OF HELPING A PERSON MAKES ME WANT TO BE A VOLUNTEER SO I CAN FEEL LIKE THAT ALL THE TIME.

lmao. i like giving them change or buying them food in exchange for an interesting story about their life.not very many where i live and i dont often carry cash. |
tons of homeless around here, but often dont have change to give them
