Yes, it really should. It was made illegal because it was an important part of Native American culture and hemp would kill the lumber industry. If made legal, the economy would improve greatly and crime would decline greatly.

Marijuana should stay illegal. It is just another reason to cause you to drop intellectually and psychologically, if not even physically. It is a bad choice and there is a reason the government doesn't want you to do it, for the right reasons, but with the wrong approach to it.

Incorrect. With that logic alcohol and cigarettes should be made illegal as well. Among countless other things.

I agree with that as well. I believe if you do not want to become your full potential, what is the point of being in this country, the U.S.? There is no reason why any American cannot become a grade A student besides being lazy and going to drugs.
I DO SMOKE POT. I AM NOT AN A+ STUDENT. THIS DOES NOT MAKE ME A HYPROCRITE, I have been using this guideline for a couple of months now, as I have been coming down on my drug use, and I wish to focus more on school and do well in life.

You seem to have this stigma that marijuana instantly means you'll do really poorly in all your endeavors. I don't smoke, but I know plenty of people who do, and maintain 4.0 gpa the whole time.

Imagine if they didn't waste their time partying(if they do) and smoke pot. They could easily study more and excel past that in school.

Cigarettes do give you a high...
Have you ever been high? It's nothing like being drunk and I can't imagine someone getting in a car accident from being high on marijuana... Unless it's laced with acid or something the effects don't tend to be that severe.
