OMG IT ISN'T LIKE WINDOWS
It's made to browse the internet with no hiccups along the way. It also stores all of your shit on a cloud as far as I know which is a rather new thing too since you don't need to delete shit cause it isn't on your HDD. You are an idiot.

Hmm, well that's kinda weird, because I'm really not quite sure where the fuck you would have gotten that idea from.

Honestly, it's meant for netbooks. Before Chrome, netbooks were all terrible. Unbelievably slow and wouldn't let you do anything, not even browse the web, which was their entire purpose. They designed a super light operating system to do just that, and they did it flawlessly.

Now shut the fuck up.

My netbook runs fine, are you referring to Chrome as in the browser or the OS? I don't even use Chrome. :l

@OP thats they main reason for its creation

To remove the things simple (retarded) people don't need or use. For that person who is tech challenged and just uses the internet to upload photos and email them to friends and family, and browse Facebook and Youtube. It starts extremely fast, and does not lag even on netbooks. Its simple, fast, and cloud based.

as for it going mainstream do you even know what mainstream is?

That's the definition of 'operating system'. That's what it does, and it all uses the web. Now what is it? It's a WebOS.

The Dell Inspiron netbooks only have 1GB RAM and a single core processor.
Knew it. You're bullshitting.

It has the same specs as my Asus netbook. It can run a browser, but it's definitely not smooth. Takes ages to boot up, and even longer to open Firefox/Chrome. It slows down tremendously and occasionally freeze if you have a bunch of tabs/windows opened up.
The only thing I've found it useful for is watching movies during road trips, but even then the tiny screen doesn't help.

Not bullshitting, how the fuck do you think I'm browsing the web right now? Bootup is fine, startup for Firefox is fine. Just because you've used ONE netbook, doesn't mean they're all the same, even if they have the same specs.
