and i don't own one does this mean my wirless network has been cracked or is my pc just being stupid
i do own a ps3 and a wii that are both connected to the network is this just an error or has it been crack

Is your network using encryption? If not then no it wasn't cracked, someone just connected. Computers will not normally list devices on a network that aren't there.
Do you have brothers or sisters? Could one of them had a friend over with an xbox?

Just means your wireless connection is not secure and someone is using it for free.

yes my network is encrypted
i have had a 360 on my network but it was wired so it did't have any password info on it but that was weeks ago and now it's gone
ps i just had installed new anti-virus when this came up
pps would'nt Microsoft know its own hardware/gamesystem

Try restarting all your network hardware.
If the 360 still appears, change your network password.

It is illegal to use other network, but there is never made any good case against them.
Change to wpa2 if you use wep, since wep can be cracked in like 10 minutes

Are you seriously dumb? The problem is someone cracked his password and is using his network for their Xbox. If he changes his password, they don't have access to his internet anymore. Hurrrr durrr.
