Crunches are good. Go for jogs. (not runs) to build up some leg strength.
And i'm not sure if you're one of the big computer fancies round here, but whenever you're sitting on the couch on your computer, watching TV, or reading a book; lift some weights. It'll increase your arm strength a dozen fold. Make sure to lift the same amount on each arm the same number of times, or you get uneven muscles. . . not pretty mate. . .

With what? Salt and fat? Here's the solution to the salt problem: drink water!
Sugar? Well you need to get fat. Fats? Well you need to get fat. McDonald's isn't that bad for you unless eaten in excess (like 3 times a day or 1 time/day for people with an average metabolism).

I think it's not just Mcdonalds itself thats unhealthy, its the burgers and greasy fries/nuggets.
It's kinda hard to get fat without consuming fats. Which is why I instead recommend building muscle, and a good way to do that is to consume protein thats in healthy foods like beans and nuts.

I honestly have a friend that has weighed 125lbs over the last 3~4 years even though he's worked out 3x a week and can bench press over 255 pounds...
There is a slight gain and faster curve with fats than protein I believe, simply because your body will not store excess protein (unless it actually uses the energy to convert it) but will store glucose as glycogen. This will allow him to easily gain 5lbs~15lbs in the first month, by simply taking in more carbs.
Dude, just eat more bread with your meals, that way you don't sabotage your health. Eating rice? eat bread with it... eating chicken? eat it with bread.

hmm. Never thought of bread. . . it's a pretty good filler. . . that sounds like it could bulk you up a bit.
