|
|
So when I'm playing wow and using a speed hack it keeps copying this to the clipboard.
CreateThread(04040000)
label(newspeed)
04040000:
push [newspeed]
call InitializeSpeedhack
ret
newspeed:
dd 3F99999A
The bind I use it ctrl + num pad 2 (razer naga)
Is there a way to make it not copy that to clipboard? Sometimes I'm trying to whisper people and afraid I might screw up and whisper them that by ctrl + v.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, there is a way. Copy the text from the clipboard into an AA script like this:
| Code: | CreateThread(003F0000)
label(newspeed)
003F0000:
push [newspeed]
call InitializeSpeedhack
ret
newspeed:
dd 3727C5AC
[ENABLE]
//code from here to '[DISABLE]' will be used to enable the cheat
[DISABLE]
//code from here till the end of the code will be used to disable the cheat |
Then You can use the speedhack with an AA script this way.
If You use this method, it will not copy the script to the clipboard.
You can assign hotkeys to the AA scripts.
A bit troublesome, but it will work. I have tried it now.
EDIT:
Btw.
dd 3727C5AC
is the speed that should be set in float value.

Looks like a piece of debugcode was left behind
I'll remove it for next version
If you like using this method of speedhack control combine it with a globalalloc instead
e.g:
globalAlloc(speedinitroutine,1024)
CreateThread(speedinitroutine)
...
speedinitroutine:
push ...
...
(this will still work in next version)
of course, using speedhack_setSpeed is probably easier

| I'm very new to this sort of thing. I don't really know what to do with this new information. Thanks for the replies though, I might be able to figure something out.

| Code: | globalAlloc(speedinitroutine,1024)
CreateThread(speedinitroutine)
label(newspeed)
speedinitroutine:
push [newspeed]
call InitializeSpeedhack
ret
newspeed:
dd (float)1
[ENABLE]
[DISABLE] |
Any number that You will put in this line:
dd (float)1
Will set the speedhack to that speed.
Like
dd (float)5
will set it to 5x speed.
This will work only after You have enabled the speedhack.
EDIT:
Here is a table to set the speed to 1x, 2x, or 3x. It is easy to modify it if You want. Just change the number.

Just modify my script and add it as a new one with "File->Assign to current cheat table".

you can only edit the script when the speedhack is enabled so the symbol is present
anyhow, try this table instead (check the table extras for more info)

Thank man but I'm confused by this table.
It says
Speed1
Speed2
Speed3
Speed1_20
Speed2_40
Speed5
Speed20
I tried binding
Speed 1 to my first button so it turns it off and then speed 1_20 to my second speed. It still copies this to the clipboard though.
CreateThread(03CF0000)
label(newspeed)
03CF0000:
push [newspeed]
call InitializeSpeedhack
ret
newspeed:
dd 3F99999A

yeah, the copy to clipboard thing will not be fixed until next ce version
Unless lua has a clipboard access routine where you can then save the clipboard contents, do the speedhack and restore the clipboard. But as I said, I don't know if it has something like that
just use geri's table then and always make sure speedhack is enabled when using the table
