I've been trying to read through a few of the faqs and tutorials and I'm still running in to a dead end.
I'm attempting to do one of two things:
1. Utilize Cheat Engine with AutoIT to continuously roll stats for a new character until I find the stats I like
2. Use Cheat Engine to set the stats to what I want
forgottenworld dot com (can't post URL's yet) is a throw back to the old days of Neverwinter Nights on AOL. They have been around for quite a few years and have done a great job with remaking and improving the game. Unfortunately you still have the roller and random gains on your levels. I'd like to hop in and hit the ground running instead of spending hours behind the stat roller looking for the perfect "18's".
They've added some visual graphics to mess with screen capture programs so I've resorted to determining what the memory address of the value is.
Searching for the stats that are generated by the roller eventually turns up empty results.
Searching for changed values will eventually turn up a very slow process of elimination that would probably take hours to sort through.
I was looking in to the XOR concept that maybe the values were encrypted, but tracking down the actual location of the memory address makes it extremely difficult to even begin debugging the encryption.
I hate to ask for help because I'd like to solve this myself but I'm at a loss.
The client is free and anyone can sign up and play or mess around.
Any help would be great.
Back to lurking and learning.
