Ladies and Gentlepeople!

Im using cheat engine as game speed up program. Games like Knights and merchants, settlers, etc become a lot better to play when speed hack is enabled.

But , when playing settlers, i use speedhack, everything goes fine.

Its just the music...when i got speed hack on 2x, all music files only get played for 0.5...the speed is normal but only half of the song/music is played. @ 3x speed only ~0.33...etc etc..

is there any way to avoid this?

Sure, adjust the speedhack so it's allowed when the sound playback routine is using it to find when to stop playing the sound.

In short, no. (And if I did speed up the sound so the full sound would play, just faster, that would be bad as well)

but with other games it just works fine... why not with settlers 2? Sad

every game is different and every game has it's own way of dealing with sound
some just play a sound and never think about it again, and others like settlers 2 set the max time a sound may play (e.g to prevent sounds from looping constantly)
