How do I cheat?

Ok so i've found some commands that arn't server side;
p_friction = "1"
p_backwardsSpeed = "0.5"
p_strafeSpeed = "1"
p_autoRunSpeed = "1.8"
If i try change them on the ingame console it says "read only" but i know for a fact I can change it, seen it done.
Oh and small question in CE whats the difference between green and black addresses?

I have no idea what game those commands are from, but the thing about green/black addresses is that the green addresses are static, meaning that it will not move (even after restart of a the game).
But in most games you will have to use a pointer to be able to use a value after restart. |

Have you considered investing some time into practising more? Word on the street is that Savage is a game that rewards skill and practice. Perhaps your time would be more wisely invested into something that is constructive for the game rather than destructive ? |

Of course. 
I also realise that Savage is a 7 year old game with a tiny community of players. The game has long since stop being supported by the original developers, instead being serviced by the community itself. This isn't a game with thousands of followers and hundreds of servers with loads of cheat protection. This is a fragile game held together with the glue of unified passion from its players. Considering that environment, regardless of the forums posted in, having someone interested in cheating for their own benefit at the detraction of the communities benefit is something I will speak up against. |

When i did that it has the value of adress no actual memory.
i totaly agree with u, my community is dead and i wish it wasnt i wouldnt fk it p. i really wouldn;t i dont want to use them i just want to be able to.

Do you also play Savage 2? |
I bought pre release, but didn't enjoy it terribly much. I felt it removed the major elements of game play that I most enjoyed from the original title. So I gave it away.
@ At username/emanresu yes, I know who you are in savage, which is why I felt compelled to respond. Perhaps you should keep the cvar testing to a dev world instead of bringing it onto the GA server. |
