|
|
| My friend wants to share his WoW account with me so I can make a new character on his account. I was wondering, if he's playing on his level 69 character in world X, and I'm playing as my noob in world Y at the same time, will the game kick us both / ban us? Thanks.

Two people can't be logged on the same WoW account at the same time.

No, it just says that somebody else is already logged on and you can't log on.

| So what's your guys call, good idea or bad idea to share an account? Aren't MMORPGs like WoW tend to be a little bit stricter and more high tech about cracking down on people sharing accounts?

I don't really think they care as long as you guys live in around the same area.
As long as they don't suspect some South Korean powerleveling his characters or farming gold.

Honest opinion, unless you two plan to share the account to help one another level and get geared, there is no point to share. Using the account for two different characters will just give you issues when you both want to play at the same time, or if you ever want to hang out together.
Just get your own account if you want to play. Games only $20 for the first 3 boxes now with $15 a month subscription fee. Mow the neighbors lawn or something if you can't afford it monthly.
