That's quite the 'ol news you be bringing. Two CFW releases have already been made. One by Geohot, and the other by Evilnat. The latter supports (or will support) homebrew and backup loaders (the same thing anyway) in the near future, the first one does not.
I'd rather have Geohots CFW support playing backups and homebrew, because he's fucking awesome.

I jsut wanted to learn more about it, so soon there will be a custom firmware by geohot, I can install this via USB right?

That's not the news he's bringing though. The USB hack and algorithm failure are two separate hacks. The finding of the master/root/signing (whatever) key, made it possible to sign any software, so it can be installed on non-hacked PS3's. Which means that, technically, you can sign ISO loader software, and install it on the official 3.55 FW from Sony.

yep, unless they make some sort of white list to regulate it, i think thats their only possible solution but it would take a fuckton of work

I've heard that 360 is very easy to mod. You should prole look into it.
