Cheat Engine

I downloaded cheat engine about a month ago and while i was using it yesterday it randomly closed. When i tried to restart the program i got the message "Windows is searching for Cheat Engine.exe. to locate the file yourself, click browse." So instead of trying to search for it myself i wait and see if the computer can find it. After about five minutes of the computer searching for the program it says "The item 'Cheat Engine.exe' that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly." I have no idea what is going on and its driving me crazy. I already disabled my firewalls to allow the CE to run properly. Everything but the actual program runs, the tutorial etc. its seems as though when i download Cheat Engine 5.6.1 everything is downloaded onto my computer except for the actual program itself. Im dying here. Can anyone help me?

Your computer got infected with malware that deletes cheat engine from your computer as soon as it sees it.

What you can do about this is UNINSTALL your anti virus and reboot to be sure it's gone (biggest malware makers out there)

If that doesn't solve it make sure you're not running an online game. (and if that is the cause you have grounds to sue them because it's deleting files from your computer without permissions)

And if it is because of your anti virus please send them an e-mail or post on their forum saying that you disapprove of them deleting cheat engine and that you're going to tell everyone you know to never buy/use their products
