So I was about to get a new gpu when I found out my psu is only 150 watts. So, to get a 500 watt psu, what am I looking at? $50? I know nothing of psu's so what specs do I look for? Links to good examples? Thanks. edit: I'm desperate here because I need to upgrade TODAY, will any 550+ watt work? Newegg has a $17 550 watt psu and I'm worried because that's just so cheap, do I need to worry about compatibility?

What do you have to recommend about it? That it works and hasn't exploded? Neither will the other one.
